Legal Assistant/Paralegal

	Job Purpose: With in-house attorney oversight, the collections paralegal is responsible for initiating and managing small claims cases for the collection of returned deferred presentment items. Essential Functions: Inputs case information into case management system. · Collects and assembles documents for case files. · Prepares and mails demand letters. · Prepares initial pleadings (Statement of Claim and Summons/Notice to Appear) for filing and process server. · Prepares for Pretrial Conferences. · Prepares and files all documents – affidavits, judgments, garnishments, etc. – necessary to bring cases to conclusion. · Records judgments. · Responds to customer calls and makes payment arrangements. · Manages calendar and important deadlines. Secondary Functions: Assists the collections attorney with case management by drafting pleadings and preparing correspondence, as well as other tasks as needed. Performs skip-tracing and asset searches. Qualifications and skills required: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree. Paralegal certification and/or substantial experience in collections and small claims case management. Understanding of legal terminology and familiarity with most legal documents. Experience working with Clerk’s Office. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency with most Microsoft-based productivity software; e.g., Word and Outlook.


Network Technician

	Amscot Financial, a fast growing and high-profile provider of retail financial services to the consumer market, is seeking a networking technician to help support existing branch locations as well as participate in new store deployments. MUST have excellent troubleshooting, customer service and verbal communications skills and naturally enjoy working with end-users directly. Some travel within central Florida required. Practical networking experience configuring, installing, deploying and maintaining PC workstations, fundamental communications equipment and peripherals in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
